I am based in San Francisco, where in addition to being actively involved with the California Artisan Cheese Guild and my blog, Miss Cheesemonger, I own and run my own law practice focusing on "soft" intellectual property issues, particularly trademark and copyright.  For those who are curious about that, my law website and blog can be found at www.kherianlaw.com.  I began my cheese blog in September 2009, when I started working in a Southern California cheese shop as a cheesemonger.  That gig lasted one glorious year, but the blog continues at www.misscheesemonger.com.
