Make Room for Homemade Halloumi
Homemade cheese is never out of reach when you have this recipe for the mild, Cypriot cheese known as halloumi. Whip this up in a couple of hours, lightly fry it in some extra virgin olive oil, and you’re good to go—plus, the process is easy and safe enough to craft with the kids!
I have made this fresh cheese many times over, and my favourite attempts have always been with children, enjoying their sense of bewilderment as the enormous saucepan of milk begins to coagulate and take form.
