Madame Fromage Tells Us What to Order at Murray's Cheese Bar
Madame Fromage recently paid a visit to the new restaurant from Murray's Cheese Shop, aptly named Murray's Cheese Bar. In addition to rubbing elbows with Allison Hooper and Adeline Druart of Vermont Butter and Cheese during one of their events, she takes on the bar's menu in all its cheesy glory.
Same cheese, different caves = totally different flavors. The Torus aged amid washed rinds — stinky cheeses, essentially — had a veil-thin crust that shattered like the sugary surface on a creme brulee. Ask for the washed-rind Torus. Beg for the washed-rind Torus. Your server will know you are very special.
