Cheese Isn't Bad For Us?
Straight from Down Under, we're hearing about another study proving that cheese is good for us. We'll take any excuse to eat more cheese...but what do you think?
A new Australian study has discovered most of us are falling short of our correct diary intake, while in the US, researchers looking for a link between obesity and eating high fat dairy foods were surprised to find that eating between 3-4 serves of dairy on a calorie-restricted diet actually led to greater weight and fat loss, compared with a standard restricted calorie regime.
The Australian report published in The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health showed a worrying two in three women and teenage girls are missing out on their recommended daily dairy intake, with more than half of men and teenage boys also not hitting dairy targets.
