Brown Sugar Sour Cream?
Ever try sour cream...sweetened? Apparently the dairy product makes a great partner for brown sugar. Try it on top of strawberries or baked in a pastry.
This topping goes well with pretty much any fruit (peaches and grapes are other favorites), and serves as the perfect alternative to whipped cream. We're particularly big fans of it on top of waffles and pancakes.
All you have to do is whisk brown sugar into sour cream, with some recipes recommending adding a small amount of vanilla extract.
