Since its 2003 opening in Williamsburg, Bedford Cheese Shop gained popularity for its old time charm and wide cheese selection. They have opened a second, larger location on Union Square in Manhattan that boasts over 300 cheeses.

Since it opened in 2003, the Bedford Cheese Shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has evolved from a stand in a funky mini-mall to a well-stocked store. Now it has added an even bigger store, near Union Square in Manhattan. A classroom within the shop is called the Homestead because, as Charlotte Kamin, an owner, said, “we wanted to convey the homeyness of what we do.”
