The winner of the NY Times Dining and Wine cheese description competition has been announced! Jeff Gordinier shares some of the best snippets of "fromagerotica" he recieved, and the winning entry (an ode to Limbuger) is nothing short of genius.
This week when we asked you, the readers, to dazzle us with your cheese-extolling skills, we had no idea what we were getting into. It turns out there’s a lot of talent out there. It also turns out there’s a lot of pent-up desire. Based on many of your heady, hungry paeans to cheese’s sensual delights, we suspect it won’t be long before the publishing world realizes there’s an untapped market for a whole new genre: fromagerotica.
