Creative Internship with Culture Magazine
Learn how to commission and execute a magazine photo shoot from concept to press.
Culture, a national consumer cheese magazine, seeks a creative intern for food and prop styling. Intern will accompany creative director on photo shoots and give art direction to photographers. In addition, Intern will provide assistance sourcing and shopping for props. Must have an affinity for food & beverage, a design aesthetic, and a desire to build a career in publishing, photography, or the graphic arts. For a college student or recent graduate, this internship is a perfect portfolio builder or potential for academic credit. Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and/or basic photography skills is a plus.
Culture magazine debuted in December 2008 as America's only consumer cheese magazine. With gorgeous photography, design, and editorial by world experts and journalists, culture helps grab the attention of readers who love cheese and the entire realm of food that encompasses this fast-growing phenomenon. Culture is published quarterly and is available nationwide at major newsstand outlets and independent bookstores and specialty food stores.
Approximately 8-10hrs. per week.
Open to residents of the Berkshires, Mass. & Southern Vermont.
