Alma Dinner Series: Grilled Cheese Night in Portland, Oregon
On March 21st, Alma will host Alberta St.'s The Cheese Plate Food Cart in their kitchen on 6th and Couch, for an evening of inventive, salty-sweet grilled cheese bites.
-La Mariposa “Five Corners,” Briar Rose Creamery Feta, Mexican chocolate mole sauce, toasted on corn bread.
-Willamette Valley “French Prairie Brie,” habanero caramel, toasted on banana bread.
-River’s Edge “Up in Smoke Chèvre,” lavender caramel sauce, toasted on pretzel bread.
-Rogue Creamery “Crater Lake Blue,” mocha almond nibby bark, toasted on cranberry bread.
-Briar Rose Creamery “Madrona,” pear chutney, toasted on salted peanut butter cup cookies.
-Portland Creamery “Sweet Fire Chèvre,” shaved dark chocolate truffle, toasted on almond brioche.
To Drink: BYOB and Alma will be pouring DRY’s lavender & vanilla bean sodas.
Plus! A cheese and chocolate board featuring all of the Oregon cheeses listed above and a selection of Alma’s amazing chocolates.
