Date:
January 15, 2012 (All day) - December 31, 2012 (All day)

At the 2012 Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, Booth #5105, Cypress Grove Chevre will have a Humboldt Fog Confession Contest for people to share the intimate details of their “first time” trying the iconic cheese.

“Over the years, we’ve been delighted by the tales fans have shared and amazed at the response Humboldt Fog has elicited,” says Mary Keehn, founder of Cypress Grove Chevre. “As part of a yearlong 20th birthday celebration for Humboldt Fog, we wanted to have a little fun with our friends and fans, and provide a creative outlet for people to tell stories about their first experience with Humboldt Fog.”

The confessional will debut at the 2012 Winter Fancy Food Show, Cypress Grove’s booth #5105, and continue all year long. Fans of Humboldt Fog will enter the draped confessional and have up to 60 seconds to recount their “first time”experience. Although the confessional will be private, all confessions will be videotaped and may appear on Cypress Grove’s web site and other social media outlets to celebrate the 20th birthday of Humboldt Fog.

Cypress Grove will collect confessions from January 15 – December 31, 2012 and announce the winners January 31, 2013. Fans will have the opportunity to confess in person at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco and the Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C. (June 17-19). Fans can submit entries online via YouTube, subject “Humboldt Fog 20th Birthday” or on Facebook. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to Cypress Grove’s home in Northern California where the redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean. Additional prizes include a $500 gift card to Williams-Sonoma and five $100 Cypress Grove gift cards good for cheese and free shipping. For more details and complete rules click here
