The British Cheese Awards create quite the stir in the cheese world. This year, around 400 cheeses from 100 cheesemakers will be judged on August 31st and a shortlist of winners will be released on September 10th announcing who has won medals but not which medals they have won. Winners are announced at the Awards Dinner on Friday 21st September including Best British Cheeseboard, Best New Retailer, and our 2012 Supreme Champion. Saturday and Sunday the 22nd and 23rd of September are open to the public at Cardiff Castle, where attendees will be able to taste and celebrate.

Some events offered included cheesemaking classes, demonstrations, live music, and games like cheese tossing. We recommend buying your tickets early—spots have a tendency to sell out fast for this event!
