Dogs Shot After New Forest Sheep Attack
Another dog-on-sheep attack occurred recently, and this time there were casualties on both sides.
A man has been fined after his two dogs were shot dead by a farmer as they attacked his sheep in the New Forest. Five sheep were attacked by the owner's Collie Cross and Setter and two sheep had to be destroyed. Three more were injured.

Blend cheese and butter in a processor until smooth. This can be prepared 2 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before using.

Norwegian Meatballs With Gjetost Sauce
This savory meatball recipe utilizes brown Norwegian cheese in the sauce. Another great use for this distinctive cheese!
For Gjetost sauce: Remove as much oil from the pan as possible and blend in butter and flour. Remove from heat and blend in light cream. Add chicken broth, bring to boil, stirring and cooking until thickened. Mix in Gjetost cheese. Turn heat low.

Sweet potatoes add uniqueness to this flatbread, while feta brings a tangy counterpart.
I think all too often people think that pizza should have 2″ of cheese and another 2″ of meat layered on top of a big doughy crust. Don’t get me wrong, I live close to Chicago so I understand pizza. However, I think when making pizza at home, it’s okay to branch out from the tomato and cheese version everyone loves so much.

The results are in! Check out this year's winners from the Grilled Cheese Invitational.
Eyebrow-raising ingredients in the Missionary and Kama Sutra categories included quail egg, habanero pepper, SoyRizo, masala, squid ink and octopus. But the real shocker of the day was when the Frickin' Figgin Vegan Sandwich took first place in the Honey Pot (amateur) category. To veteran grilled cheese lover and founder of the GCI Tim Walker, a sandwich winning for sandwich's sake (which happened to be vegan) was "an event horizon at the Grilled Cheese Invitational."

"30 Rock" Satire of Kraft Sponsorship Is Sponsored By Kraft
A recent episode of the popular comedy "30 Rock," was taped live, and Kraft managed to sneak into one of the scenes with an old-timey commercial that looked like a spoof. They have the marketing thing on lock:
The episode began with an imaginary, black-and-white NBC sitcom called “The Lovebirds,” modeled on the legendary CBS sitcom “The Honeymooners.” The writers of “30 Rock” made “The Lovebirds” part of what an announcer called “The Kraft Product Placement Comedy Hour, sponsored by Kraft Singles. It’s the cheese that won World War II.”
