The formula is simple: homefries topped with cheddar and broiled. Add guacamole, sour cream, salsa and an optional egg or two for a mighty brunch plate for just $6.
My only wish is that they'd use a nicer cheese; their foodservice shreds don't do their salty, crispy homefries justice. I've never attempted a home version, but a bit of quality cheddar would elevate the dish into the stratosphere.
Still, if you're ever at the Delta of Venus, and don't plan to do much with the rest of your day...

Hey Will, if you go in to Delta when they're not jam-packed, you might have some luck with bringing in your own cheese and asking them nicely if they wouldn't mind using that instead. I did it with some fresh eggs from my chickens, and they were pretty obliging!

It drives me crazy, because usually I'm the last guy to begrudge corner-cutting on dishes that've obviously been compounded for stoners and students. But in this case, if they upped the quality of ingredients just a bit, this thing would be legendary.
