While working on a post about yogurt, I stumbled across this marvelous, demented commercial out on YouTube-- hadn't seen it in the wild, but it's running on TV somewhere:

Fage is Greece's biggest dairy company, but they're clearly willing to take some artistic risks.

The commercial raises so many questions: Is the voiceover Willem Dafoe? Who wrote the poetry copy (the ad was put together by Mullen ad agency...)? "Plain rode away on lion's mane?"

If you haven't noticed, like cheese, yogurt is going nuts on the American market and consumption is expected to double before the trend is over. Consumption of lyric yogurt poetry is apparently on the rise, as well.
