Mud, Kids and Chevre
I was pondering about what to write about in my blog this week and I was just stumped. I’ve written (and bragged) enough about my role at Culture.. I’ve posted snazzy cheese inspired dinners and movies.. I’ve even stooped to ragging on other Culture bloggers. I turned my lovely girlfriend for suggestions, “Well, spring is just around the corner..why don’t you write about something that you think of with warm weather?”
“Well” I pondered, “What is there to write about with cheese and spring?” The only thing I could think of was mud. Then I struck it! I associated mud with visiting farms in the spring and especially my favorite local goat farm where the mother goats give birth to their kids this time of year and produce milk for the sweetest and freshest of chevres. “Mud, kids, and chevre! Thanks sweetie!”
I trotted down to Rawson Brook Farm in my boots, a mere 10 minute dive to visit the pregnant goats, take some pictures and share them with you all. No kids yet but I’ll be sure to get back over there when there is!
Next time: Goats, Julia Roberts, Indian food and butterflies (not sure why they all relate? You’ll see!)

Yep, it is amazing what we can find to write about when we finally just put our minds to it. I think that this weeks blog is perhaps one of your best yet and I hope to read more about cheese soon.
Writing a blog every week is one thing but making scouting people want to read it is a totally different story but this blog is always entertaining when it comes to cheese.
